Saps arising

One thing the little Panasonic Lumix is good at is macro shots. We had walked past this tree stump on Sunday and seen all the little droplets of sap glittering in the sun so I went back today. The little camera was an advantage as it perched on the edge. The bigger dark area is just a slightly bigger puddle. I actually tried one drop on my tongue thinking it would be sweet but wasn't. The tree was only felled about 3 weeks ago and had to be taken down as it had pushed up the pavement.
