Pretty Camellia

Daughter 'flying' and I wandered around the Kaiapoi gardens and came across this pretty pink camellia sunning itself at the top of the bush. 

A glorious blue sky this morning but by afternoon a haziness developed out to the west surrounding Mount Grey and the estuary with a chilly cold wind. There were four ladies sitting on a bench seat enjoying their packed lunches and the view. We then called into Pegasus Beach which was quite refreshing with a real wintry feel, the wind was bitter, jackets were required.
 
Once again thank you all so much for your comforting thoughts, every day we visit R is different, as his illness progresses.
