Miss you

Today is Mum's birthday.  She would have been 84.  The photo, taken in 1965 or thereabouts,  shows her as I love to remember her most, at the piano.  She was a concert pianist of some repute locally, with performance venues including St Martin-in-the-fields.  I used to fall asleep at night to the sound of her practising. The piece I always asked her to play was Severac - "The Musical Box" (here).  Tinkling gem.   Tears.
