Wells-next-the-Sea

Another lovely day and we had a slow start to the day.  Later in the morning we headed over to Blakeney. There was a very high tide and parking was at a premium as the shore car park was under water.  We eventually found somewhere to park  and headed off on a walk along the coastal path to Cley-next-the Sea.  I love this walk – we all love this walk.  It was nice to do it on such a bright day.  Once in Cley we had a lovely lunch at the George Hotel – sitting in the beer garden.  The down side was wasps!

We walked back along the road to Blakeney, which is much shorter than the coastal path.  BB wanted to do some crabbing so we drove round the coast to Wells-next-the Sea. I left he boys at the harbour and went off for a wander round Wells.  They weren’t hugely successful, but still caught a few crabs.

They were released back into the harbour and we headed home.  BB watched the third Star Wars film – his final Star Wars of the holiday.
