Views From The Roof

Determined to have a more interesting blip after the last few days we combined a trip to the tip recycling centre with a flying visit to late C14 Craigmillar Castle nearby.

The cloud shadow moved just enough for this view from the roof to Salisbury Crags and Samson's Ribs. The white building in the foreground is C17 Prestonfield House.

From there we could also watch a photoshoot of a posh frock in the next field, see extra photo. Not what I would wear to parade in the long grass but, hey, it takes all sorts.
