No Rain Today

Looking towards Teignmouth from the fringes of Dartmoor.
Our third consecutive Sunday walking on Dartmoor and the only one when it didn't rain all day. Our walk took us to Rifle Butts, Rippon Tor, Hemsworthy Gate, Holwell Tor, and Blackslade Manor. At Blackslade are the remains of the Newhouse Inn, burnt down, it is said, by women tired of their men folk spending all their time and money there when the day's work was done.
