Mas Bellonte

We were invited for coffee to visit friends who have been working for ten years to convert a Mas (farmhouse) that once belonged to M. Bellonte, the first with M. Contes, to fly across the Atlantic in the wrong direction i.e. against the prevailing winds. His was a grand project but only half finished so our friends have taken on this Grand Designs project which will last a lifetime.  They have gone from camping in it to now having a very beautiful and comfortable house but there is still lots to do.  Just maintaining the grounds would be a full time job for me!  Today's photo is of the wisteria which will eventually pull down the huge tree it is growing around.
