Blair Drummond

A day out at the Blair Drummond Safari Park today.  Managed to pick one of the best days we've had recently and caught a bit of sun.

As someone who isn't a bit fan of birds (to put it mildly), I'm not sure if it was brave or stupid to go to the falconry display.  The falconer announced that the birds would be flying close by, directly overhead, so duck if anything came near, and don't stroke the birds if they landed beside you.  Then he seemed to target me for a couple - a huge hawk landing just above my head twice.  The pic on the right, was taken when it landed just beside me.
