This Tree

Up early again this morning for a lengthy walk. It's amazing how the the same walk can reveal such different sights on different days. Much like our walk of faith, which can make a slice of scripture engage us completely different from one day to the next.

This tree which appeared as just a nominal part of the neighborhood yesterday, jumped out of the suburban landscape and captured my attention immediately this morning.

O' that God's word would do the same this evening.

For whatever was written in former days was written for instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. (Romans 15:4)
