Edinburgh at a Canter

Went to a reception organised by book publishing support body, Publishing Scotland, at the Edinburgh Book Festival tonight.
I took this snap of this pair of smallish (well compared to their big brothers in Falkirk...) Kelpies as I ran for the train home.
It was an interesting night. I went with my friend and co-author, Louise Wyllie and we had some good chats.
Publishing is a new business to us both and we're learning as we go along. We're keeping our fingers crossed that The Making of George Wyllie, the biography we've written about Louise's late dad, will be published before the end of the year.
We're doing a talk about writing the book next Wednesday at Paisley Museum to tie in with the Why?sman exhibition which is running there until September 13th.
Need to get our heads together to work on what could turn out to be a new double-act if the book proves popular...
