Family
In Castelldefells couple of weeks ago Gary told me that he, Ellie, Ollie and Evie were off to Freshwater Beach near Bridport. I toldGary I'd be up for coffee and so it was that after coffee and toast Sam, Josh and I set off in torrential rain, (what else), for Bridport.
It was great to see them, the rain continued so we sat in the Camp Site restaurant, had a coffee and caught up.
The kids ate, we chatted, the kids played, we chatted some more and all too soon it was 1600 and time to head back.
We arrived back in Falmouth in time for me to change quickly and get off to the RNA meeting.
Home late, some oven cooked fish for a really late dinner, chilli made for tomorrow night's dinner, a coffe and bed.
A long day, a 280 mile round trip, (93.3 miles per cup of coffee), but family is everything and I wouldn't have missed the day with my brother and his family for anything.
