KEFALONIA....(& ZANTE)....DAY 13

My sister had arrived in Zante so The Rev and I planned a last minute visit.

6:30 leave for port.....nearly there... 10 minute tour of the villages due to extremely poor signage!!!
8:00 boat leaves for Zante
9:15 dock, collect hire car, smooth 45 mins drive down then spend another 20 minutes touring the area as now we have had no phone contact all day...really really frustrating but eventually met up at her hotel.
Headed to the beach and after a swim I bravely took my 2 nieces on an inflatable that bounced wildly much to our "amusement"...all I'm saying is we had to slow down because Roo is only 7....phew was I relieved for an excuse!!
Then into Zante town for a delicious meal and facetimed Mum to surprise her (think she was!)...then after an icecream form the most miserable person in Zante Greece Europe we visit the church and then headed back to the hotel for a dip in the pool!!
Smooth trip back to port, left hire car.
7:45 boat back and another 30 minutes trying to get out of the area in the dark!!!! Aarrghh

HAPPY....to be back (11:30) after a very long day filled with some fabulous memories and lots of giggles.
