Simonside heather #2

Another visit to Simonside this afternoon and early evening.  The heather was still in bloom although beginning to fade a little.  Nonetheless, the hills looked beautiful and the weather was warm and dry if a little blustery.  

It was good to get out on the hills as we had received some disappointing news at lunch time.  Our buyer has had to pull out of the purchase of our house for personal reasons.  It seemed a genuine reason and while I hope nothing serious has happened, selfishly it was a huge disappointment to us and immensely frustrating that this crazy system allows for such situations to arise. Back to the drawing board!
