Keeping Warm

Another wildlife day today, but with my dad this time. We went to the Peak Wildlife Park just outside Leek. Anyone would think it was winter the way these ring-tailed lemurs were huddled together. But it wasn't really warm enough for these super cute mammals. 

I had a close encounter with a ruffed lemur. Their enclosure is open rather than seeing them behind bars. You enter their world and they choose if they want to get closer. I was sat on a bench and the lemur decided to hop up on the bench put her front paws on my knee and look me straight in the eye. She stayed there just for a moment or two, and then she was off.
