Teeny Weeny Hoverfly

A quick walk before the rain arrived.  Lots of bees and a few butterflies which wouldn't co-operate but this really tiny hoverfly was sitting (not "sat" as so many people say these days) on a Knapweed leaf and deserved to be blipped for Tiny Tuesday.

My extra is a Roesel's Bush Cricket, which I have never seen before but believe they are gradually spreading north.  It didn't want to pose so this is as good as it gets.
