Race for Life 2012

Today was RACE FOR LIFE 2012 - my daughter finally persuaded me that exercise is fun! It was an excellent and amazing afternoon. We are already planning for next year.

Cancer Research is very close to my heart. My own mum lost her battle to cancer before my daughter was born. To be able to participate in Race for Life with Lizzie was amazing and I know my mum was with us in spirit today.

These type of fundraising events were unheard of 21 years ago and I am so glad so many people were there today to support Race for Life - it was a truly amazing!

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has been touched by this cruel disease.
