Going to seed ...

The willowherb seeds are flying around like clouds of midges, probably straight into my garden. The thistledown is everywhere and as you can see there are still purple flowers to mature and set seed. This is just by the river.

Some of the nicest weather of the summer today. Just perfect for walking the dog, doing some gardening, drying the washing and other such simple pleasures.
