What a sweetie!

All the tiny birds - not starlings or pigeons - have definitely invaded and my bushes are full of tits, finches and sparrows with the nuthatch popping by in the afternoon. This baby goldfinch finally stayed still long enough to have his picture taken.

A battle scarred greenfinch chased him away. The greenfinch has a growth under his eye and scars everywhere but at least had a good feast. I went out in the rain in the afternoon to top the sunflower hearts up. The poor greenfinch is in the extra pictures.

It was a busy working day and I turned the radio off completely in the middle of the afternoon.

Nothing much else to report. It just rained.
