Rugby at high iso

Another pre season friendly, this time Newport took on Abercarn. But due to the heavy rain they decided to move the match from Rodney Parade to Llanwern High school. Unfortunately, even though they have a really nice set up there, they haven't got any lights. So as you can imagine, with heavy cloud cover the light was poor, especially towards the end of the match.

One good thing was that i got to check out high iso rugby images. This shot was at 1/640th f2.8 300mm at 8000 iso, not bad i thought.
