Grey as a shark's armpit

Today was my first full day back at school. Luckily it rained and rained and rained so I didn't feel like I was missing out on a perfectly good summer's day.

My Blip title is from a lovely bit of writing by author AL Kennedy on Radio 4 yesterday, called 'August is the cruellest month'. Four minutes of gentle fun-poking at the damp squibbishnes of a British summer. Worth a listen if you can find it online.
