Glorious Glencoe

Had a day trip to watch the Inaugural Glencoe skyline race. It's a 50km loop from Glencoe mountain resort along the mountain tops to Bidean nam Bian down to the road and back along the ridge. It'd be an awesome walk, but to see Jon Symonds and Emilie Forsberg run it about 7 hours 20 mins and cross the finish line smiling and chatting was incredible. We were lucky with the weather at the mid point where we walked up Bidean nam Bian to watch the descent, it was a bit driech at the finish line tho. We retreated after the first few runners when the driech turned into heavy rain. A lovely day out with fellow runners, with a nice meal in Callender on our way south again.
