St Helens

Last week we bought wellies thinking we were in for a wet week so we were more than happy to find ourselves spending the afternoon on the beach today. We went to our local beach at St Helens. We visited here on our last holiday and despite a fairly stressful day we enjoyed so much we decided to make it our base for this year.

Girl who always moans about going to the seaside but then always enjoys it had a great time playing in the sand as did I. Boy got a bit fed up and so took shelter in the beach tent. A little girl came to play with Girl who made us laugh when after our Girl made up a game came out with "Wow that's genius". Boy soon cheered up watching the two girls play.

We then didn't really move about from our spot much mainly on account of boy falling asleep flat on me meaing I was incapacitated for quite a while where Girl and Wife enjoyed burying my legs as well as their own.
