EYE IN EYE
I stood eye in eye today with the squirrel, with hazelnuts in her mouth, when I stepped out of the door and she came running up the drive.
And later I stood eye in eye with the bush cricket who had landed up the path along the Weser.
In the morning I cleaned thoroughly the floor of the kitchen and the adjacent small diningroom.
Overwhelmed by all the great comments, stars and hearts.for my feather
of the Jay. Thank you all dear friends.
3 cm it only was. So small.
My haiku:
Where did you land
You big eyed cricket
And flew away again
And the proverb:
To fly with the owl
