Orchid or Triffid?

My Orchid has 6 flowers out now and at least another 20 buds waiting to bloom. It was supposed to sit neatly on the windowsill but has taken over my kitchen worktop and I have had to move the kettle and mug tree, as I can't find any where else to put the Orchid that has the same amount of light etc. Also just in case I upset it and it dies if put in a different position. I've never had one with this many flowers, buds and branches.
