I'm Getting Off
Across the other side of the city for a bright and breezy breakfast class, cancelled at the last minute giving me the chance to stroll the avenues and side streets of this impressive capital city. I stopped along the way to watch the crowds hurrying to work, the parents with their children, care-free and squeaky clean. I took a coffee in a bar and thought all could be well, all just might be normal. But there is something nagging me on the inside which tells me it's not. Is it just the solitude of a new city or something more, something about me, my direction, my purpose, or lack thereof. Got to get back my conviction.
