New day - new beginnings

At the Halldór Laxness museum

Gljúfrasteinn was the home and workplace of Halldór Laxness (winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1955) and his family. It is now open to the public, and everything is just the same as when Laxness lived there. It's a beautiful house in even more beautiful settings in Mosfellsdalur.
After a trip to the local swimming pool and breakfast at our caravan, we went to visit the museum, and it was really worth the visit.
After lunch we went to see my parents in law, but my mother in law was fast asleep and we didn't get any contact with her. Afterwards we drove to Keflavík and visited my mother, and had dinner with her. She was doing rather well, so that was nice.
