Rowardennan Lodge Youth Hostel.

The beautiful location for the first night of my 12 day hill-bagging trip. Two Marilyns and two other tops bagged before the midges arrived.

Set directly on the West Highland Way, Rowardennan Lodge is an ideal stopover for those partaking in the challenge. Ben Lomond, Scotland's most southerly Munro sits directly behind the Youth Hostel and the start of the climb is only 500 yards from the Youth Hostel door, making it an ideal location for walkers. Guests can enjoy the spacious grounds in front of the Youth Hostel or even climb aboard a boat cruise with Cruise Loch Lomond picking up from the jetty right by the Youth Hostel.
