angling

A short drive to Blyth this morning and a walk along the pier - ¼ mile to the end and the same back, though I did the return walk faster. I would have felt safer if I hadn't been able to see the North Sea through the gaps in the planks. 

Took my aunt out for lunch (she paid but we provided the transport) and my brother joined us (we provided the transport for him too). A drink with lunch left me feeling sleepy in the afternoon ............ or perhaps it was the sea air. 

Couldn't decide which photo to blip so I've put the pier in extras. I was pleased with the symmetry on that - no straightening or software trickery involved.
