If you wait long enough the festival comes to you...

Stepped out of the flat just after midday to the distinctive sound of a brass band playing Bohemian Rhapsody... our park turned out to be one of the venues for 'Fanfare' - 12 brass bands playing the same sets in different locations across the city at midday, 3pm and 5pm...

We caught the lot - a very chipper and upbeat 'Love Will Tear Us Apart', a Pimms soaked picnic to the sounds of 'Das Modal' along with Over the Rainbow and all points between.

A day to be a right smug git about where you live.
