Wildflower bank
Well, hopefully it will be later on in the summer. The advantage of all this rain is that the seeds that I planted about a week ago are now all coming up. They have escaped the slugs so far and I've managed to keep the cats and birds off by creating a string network above the seed bed. I've scattered about three packets of native wildflower seeds to the right of the new pond. I hope we'll have a bee and butterfly-friendly mini-meadow by the end of the summer.
