Rescue of a Precious Kitty

This gorgeous kitten was found wandering around our street this afternoon. Of course our neighbors know that we love animals and came to us for "assistance"... This poor thing (appears to be a female) was tired, hot, and probably hungry. 

I'm off to the store to get some kitten food and will set this little girl up somewhere by herself until we figure out what to do with it.  

BTW - I was ready to blip a backlit moth that I saw this morning. Then a hummingbird moth came along this afternoon and was going to blip that instead.  And finally this beauty came along and outdid the previous two.
