Giant Paella

The typical Spanish Sunday lunch in this area is......paella!
Ours today, was a Giant Paella....enough for more than 100 hungry guests!....and true to tradition, it was cooked over wood, on the ground....for us all to see!
This was lunch at our 'Penya', on the final day of the Village Summer Fiestas.
To begin, the Mayor presented prizes to the winning Petanc Players....
then on to the food ...tapas, paella, icecreams, bottles of wine and water....all served effortlessly by the experienced team of caterers!
My husband was celebrating his birthday today....so, on our table, we also had bottles of cava and a Birthday cake!
Quite a feast!
