Mud, mud, glorious Mudders

Son George (second left) with four of his friends Joe, Tim, Ryan and Ro, after completing their 12-mile Tough Mudder challenge in Cirencester. Among the ridiculous obstacles they had to conquer was running through a forest of live electrical wires, plunging down chutes into freezing water and crawling through a room of acrid smoke. Call that fun? Well it just sounds mad to me but congratulations to them all for completing the course. It made the mud at Glastonbury look like a minor inconvenience.
And my extra photos was of their running shoes. Yuk!
UPDATE: Just found out that he did at least half the run with a broken foot! Didn't realise he had done it until it kept on swelling last night. Ouch!
