After the Rain

These red flowers are often knocked off the plant by rain or breezy days and fall among the fossilsed dinosaur bits next to the pot.  Sad that the summer is beginning to fade but I quite like the way this one has landed.

Before the rain arrived we were collecting more 'keepers' from the garden and planting out the rescues from yesterday.  Two of our good friends are off on holiday this evening so we're driving them to the airport, hence the middle of the day blip.
