Backblip: Harnessed

Mr L sought out a cat harness when he went to town on Friday. He had a choice of one. Not one style, nor one size, nor even one colour but simply one harness. I tried it on Ted ad it was huge. Luckily it adjusts down and after a couple of attempts it is fitting none too badly, though there is room to perfect the fit.

It is not what we would have chosen, had we any choice involved at all.

There was much hilarity involved in watching the cat walk backwards around the room, trying to escape the harness. Unfortunately it is relatively easy for a cat to escape this type and indeed Ted did escape from the one that we bought for him when he first came to live with us. He is a more sedate cat these days and I think it looks as though he can be persuaded to accept wearing it. For now he only has it on while we are with him, it's too loose and too easy for him to get a leg stuck in it just now so it comes off at bedtime.
