is what's on tap today - yup, another anniversary has rolled around - somehow they come up faster than they used to - i remember initially how those 1st years - were a big deal - i felt like i had passed a huge milestone - wanted to make it very special and all - now not as much - just feels as though it's another day - is that simply the passing of time - or that i have gotten older? - no, you don't need to answer that

i do recognize however - that this site continues to hold - a very special and significant place in my life - it still drives me each day - helps me to focus - creates some balance, organization which - i might not have if it didn't exist - for that i am grateful - it has given me friendships - around the world which i value - beyond words because i never - would have formed them without blip

many things have changed over the - course of these 5 years - it's the nature of life - the nature of being - it's how the world works - we cannot be upset or disillusioned with change - yet no one can stand still - in the midst of change - and some of the things which - have occurred here are not - necessarily what makes up blip - at least in my opinion - i believe what blip is - the fabric of it - is the people - the community - the blippers who are posting every day - highlighting their fabulous photos - their wonderful creativity - it is that which has kept me here these last years - and as my middle stone reflects - they are the 'heart' of blip - which cannot be taken away

when i began 5 years ago - it was to help me recover from injuries - related to a car accident - and to find joy again in simple moments along the way - in god's creation - i can thankfully say i am accomplishing both - on an ongoing basis as they contribute to the makings of...
