Hoot!

We went along to an open garden this afternoon at St. John's Manor, somewhere I've fancied going for a long time.

It's huge by Jersey standards so lots of room for people. Lots of photo opportunities and blips.

They had about a dozen birds of prey in cages, but no displays going on. We felt quite sad for these magnificent birds even though they looked healthy enough. This looks like a Long-Eared Owl to me, but a small one.
