Birding at Blacktofts

Beautiful morning spent at Blacktoft Sands RSPB reserve.
A bit breezy, but sunny and very warm.
We didn't see the spoonbill, but plenty of other birds about, including 28 little egrets in one lagoon, and 29 curlew on another dried up one.
The collage shows:
Peacock butterflies,
2 Blacktailed Godwits,
Little egret, and heron,
Ladybird
Konik Ponies.

The sun just sparkled on the water. Lots of dragonflies and butterflies darting about.
Had a picnic lunch, and then as the wind had really got up, decided to come back and sit out in the garden.
However I can just hear some thunder, and it is looking a bit black, so don't think we will be sat out side now!

Hope you have all had an enjoyable weekend. We certainly have.
