Festival Time

The church just up the road from where I live is celebrating its 175th Anniversary this year. The most recent event in their anniversary celebrations is a flower festival taking place this weekend.

I popped into that on Saturday afternoon and enjoyed it very much - the theme was 'celebrations' and there were floral displays on topics such as weddings, baptisms, Holy Communion, Easter, Harvest, Christmas, VE & VJ Days, Scotland, music, and much more. One of the most elaborate displays had the heading "Celebrate Learning" and this photo shows part of that window display.
