Sunday morning Phil's run

Another crazy family tradition (that almost disappeared).....Sunday morning trip to get the newspaper at a little country store named Phil's.

The kids have to still be in their p.j.'s, and they drive with Gramps the two miles down country roads to the store.

Thank heaven Al bought this tee shirt just before Phil's closed down....but thankfully someone else saw the potential and bought the property....sooooooooo, the name may be changed, but the tradition continues.

Sanibel actually got dressed early this morning, but Caroline said "What about going to Phil's in your p.j.'s???" so she changed back and was ready to roll when Old Gramps finally crawled out of bed.     I guess the drive-in movies went too late for him!!!
