Kowhai

It lots of ways it has been a good day. Church this morning which I had to do the morning tea for. Was up by 7am baking date scones.
After church friends took me out to lunch and we sat outside to eat chatting in the sun. It was so pleasant.
This Kowhai (native to NZ) is in my friends garden. Couldn't get over how the bees had damaged the flowers. They are such a beautiful shade of yellow
