Farewell my friend...

A few years ago we planted a little tree in our garden but over the years it rather expanded past its allocated space. After the recent high winds it was left with quite a lean so we decided it had had its day. We can already see plants that it obscured from view - Pickle loved sitting under it so not sure how happy he'll be though.

This was it after a severe haircut before final demolition. Some of it is staying in the garden - this bit in particular will no doubt soon provide a great bug haven!
