Family Fun

A change of plans lifted the mood slightly today and provided a welcome distraction. The step-daughter drove upto my gran's for a visit and then took us back to Cardiff for a shopping trip. It was the first time she'd driven me anywhere since passing her test- she definitely inherited road rage from her father! Met with her girlfriend and went for lunch- I abstained due to the health kick!
Lil' sis' worked hard to entertain us throughout the day, although I'm not sure she was as keen when it was my turn to make everyone laugh.
The weather brightened for a few hours too. Was nice to get out and put the grief to one side for the day.
