Shaken Not Stirred

That has been a theme for the week.  Shaken not Stirred when the midges attacked and I was completely covered in the nastiest of bites. I'm still taking anti-histamine 4 days later.  Shaken not Stirred enjoying my birthday with a drink or two and Shaken not Stirred when my mother's birthday turned into all 3 of us suffering the effects of food poisoning and my mother then having to visit A&E as it brought on one of her most spectacular nose bleeds.  The poor wee sausage, on her birthday too.  

It was fitting then than quite by chance I should meet my gorgeous sister and niece in town today, just before they went to Harvey Nicks for lunch and cocktails.  I wasn't just invited I was literally pulled in.  That's a Shaken not Stirred to be thoroughly enjoyed.  

My sister and I have decided that 4 birthdays in August is too silly so next year she and I might change our day of birthday celebrations. Bagsie mine in June!!!!
