Randomly decided to visit Wells-Next-the -sea today.. It was the longest it has ever taken me to travel up there.. Well over 2 hours! To get there, and then find the roads all through the town were at a standstill & no spaces left in the carpark.. Utter chaos!
Very nearly just drove away.. But spotted somewhere just outside of town to leave the car!
Bit of a long walk over to the beach, and it was rammed with people .. I decided just to keep walking along the beach until there was hardly anyone around.. Much nicer!! A paddle in the sea, a walk on the sand, blue sky & sunshine.. Was all good in the end I guess!
Journey home was a breeze!
Then out on the bikes to a local pub with the fella for dinner tonight.. Very nice! :)
