Starting over

Some of us campus residents met for a barbecue+potluck gathering this evening.  All together again. Colleagues and friends that feel like family.   Coming back to Istanbul after a summer of family and fun isn't a pain free process, but the camaraderie of these folk, sharing their summer stories, is a salve for the melancholic wistfulness for a summer that really is over as we muster our wherewithal to start all over again.
