On the beach ....

at Felixstowe and the only way to escape the sizzling temperatures here in East Anglia as far too hot to stay inland. After spending most of the day up on the cliff tops of Felixstowe in the cooling breeze we moved along to Felixstowe Port and walked out onto the Nature Reserve where at 5 pm many people were still enjoying the beach and swimming. We couldn't get Bracken to go in the sea but he did enjoy watching the goings on and in the distance you can see one of the Stena Line Ferries which has just departed from Harwich on its way to Holland!
