The princess and the pea

Bowlby loves sleeping. One of her favourite places is this soft chair in our conservatory. Today she had to balance on top of a pile of clothes, waiting to be sorted for the charity shop. Some are too big!

I could not resist capturing an image of her peacefully asleep, but, despite her increasing deafness, she heard me and raised her head.  She is 16 and quite arthritic now, but a very affectionate cat. We love her to bits, despite her inappropriate vocalising (during the night, when we are on the phone, when I play the piano, etc., etc).

It's been a quiet day at home. Malcolm left after breakfast for the drive to Cambridge. We may see him on the return journey later in the week.

I've been catching up on Witnesses on the iPad. Sorry we missed this on TV.
