Going Going....!

This is the former village institute that served out little village for generations. All of the local clubs and societies used the meeting rooms and it also houses the village library for many years.

It was closed several years ago when a new village centre was opened in the renovated old school buildings. The property was left to dilapidate and was beyond repair and now demolition has begun.

It is sad for old villagers to see this once proud building refused to this. Sadly even the old piano that I have played will be reduced to kindling as the building was too unsafe to remove it and it can be seen awaiting it's fate on the upper floor
