Findhorn Bay
Today was a rest day in the 6 days, so obviously we went orienteering with a sprint race in Forres, followed by the middle distance final, at the World Orienteering Championships. This was held at Darnaway. The area looked really horrible on the big screen and some of the mapping towards the end left a bit to be desired. The woman that finished 3 and the favourite for the men’s race were caught out and were quite diplomatic considering it probably cost them a gold medal. My extra blip is of Annika Billstam of Sweden, who won for the second year running. However my blip is of the sunset at Findhorn Bay, with the reflection of the sky in the wet sand. Another great sunset.
